Laikan started in Guangzhou in 2004 as a trading desk. What we sell now is the operational part that importers cannot build remotely: people who walk into the factory, read the Chinese contract, and know which supplier quietly changed the resin between the sample and the bulk run.
Most importers assemble the operation from three vendors. The work still gets done. What changes is who answers when a step fails, and how much of your week goes into holding the three of them together.
