Twenty years of buying, arguing and shipping
Laikan started in Guangzhou in 2004 as a trading desk. What we sell now is the operational half that an importer cannot build remotely: people who walk into the factory, read the Chinese contract, and know which supplier quietly changed the resin between the sample and the bulk run.

A sourcing desk with a freight department attached
Most importers hire an agent, an inspector and a forwarder, and then spend their week managing the gaps between them. We do the three jobs with the same team: the person who negotiated your price signs off the inspection report and books the container.
Registered in Hong Kong and operating from Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Yiwu, we sit where the products are made, close to the factories, the ports and the paperwork.
Four commitments behind every order

- ✓Transparency. The factory invoice is shown to you as it is. Our fee is a fee, not a margin hidden inside the unit price.
- ✓Accountability. One coordinator owns your account from the specification to the delivered pallet.
- ✓Quality first. We audit the factory, inspect while the line runs and release the balance only after a clean AQL report.
- ✓Cost discipline. The cost comes down through specification and consolidation, never through quality.
Three roles, one account
We publish roles rather than names, because the person who answers your email should matter less than the fact that the role never changes hands mid-order. You get one coordinator, and the other two work behind them.
What Laikan is not
We are not a supplier directory. A list of factories is free and worth what it costs; the work is knowing which of them holds tolerance on the third production run. We are not a broker who introduces you and disappears either, because the introduction is the cheap part and the argument about a defect eight weeks later is the expensive one.
We are not an insurer. Cargo insurance is arranged on your behalf through licensed underwriters, and the policy is between you and them. And we are a poor fit for anyone buying a single sample, chasing the lowest price on a marketplace, or unwilling to have the goods inspected before the balance is paid. That last one is not a preference. It is the mechanism the whole operation rests on.
